Morrow wants to develop and manufacture the most cost-effective and sustainable battery cells in the world. Period.

Morrow Batteries is planning to build its Battery Innovation Center on Campus Grimstad. This will be a resource and development center for the main factory which will be located in the neighboring municipality of Arendal. Construction of the innovation center is planned to begin in the third quarter of 2021.

The modern facility will make it possible for car manufacturers to carry out customer qualifications, and will be the first of its kind in Scandinavia. It will have world-leading technology that facilitates for test production of battery cells intended for qualification in the European automotive industry, providing the opportunity to accelerate the development and commercialization of new battery technologies.

The center will embrace the entire value chain from research and design to mass production of battery cells.

While the Battery Innovation Center is being built, we are engaged in external prototype development projects on several battery chemistry (cathode and anode) combinations in order to fast-track our time to market.

To help us accelerate the activities mentioned above, we are seeking committed, talented and ambitious colleagues that are passionate about sustainable technology and energy. Working in Morrow’s distinctly entrepreneurial environment will undoubtedly move your career forward as a team-member and as a leader.

We believe in flexible work hours and a good work-life balance, and while we love to get results, it’s incredibly important for us to have happy team members.

Our team is driven, hardworking, creative and responsible, with a love for inspiring each other in order to grow and learn.
